2000 Sesame Chicken
2 2 /2-3 pounds
chicken broilers, quartered
Juice of 1 lemon
4 cloves or garlic
1 cup salad oil
½ cup soy sauce
Fresh ginger
¾ cup sesame seeds
Sprinkle chicken
with lemon juice. Grate garlic and mix with oil, soy sauce, and
ginger; pour this over chicken and soak for 30 minutes. Broil chicken
skin side down for 30 minutes. Then turn, basting again. Coat each
piece with sesame seeds and return to broiler until seed is golden.
This can be
done on the barbecue grill by wrapping the chicken in aluminum foil,
and when done (40-50 minutes) unwrap and roll in sesame seeds and
grill.
